That was a couple I saw at the Estes Park games this year. Thought they looked very coordinated.

If you want a tartan kilt, get a tartan kilt.
But if you're not sure about shelling out a lot of money for a tank:
- Get a well-made 5 yard kilt,
- Get a box-pleated kilt,
- Make your own (personally, I wait for the 2nd or 3rd kilt to do this, so you can reverse engineer as necessary),
- Order a 8 yard PV from MacHummel at Canadian Casual Kilts (tank-like looks but easy to clean and half the price), or
- eBay [find something that looks good, post it here - someone can tell if it's a good deal or not, and most of us are gentlemen enough not to compete with you for it (not for your first tartan kilt, anyway)]

I consider myself a traditionalist (in that I prefer tartan trads to contemps), and I'll add my voice to the chorus and say go for it. Get what you like and wear it with pride. A tank would certainly be nice and warm in the upcoming PEI winter breezes.
[b][SIZE=2] In Soviet Russia, kilt wears you.
