I'm turning into Riverkilt
I got a new credit card the other day, so what naturally is the first thing I think to charge on it?
Thats right, I now have a SWK Irish National Standard and a Nightstalker Sporran on the way. I completed the order around 0630 this morning, but 0800 I had confirmation it was in the shipping box and on the way to my address.

You better get to ordering some hand-sewn Stomes if you're gonna catch up to Ron. You'll love that sporran, I use mine every time I kilt up.

You'll be fine until the plastic starts to smoulder...then its time to back off for a while.
Of course this is the time of year the banks all up our limits so we can go deeper into debt holiday shopping. Might as well be kilts!
I paid my evil bank down to almost nothing...they in turn upped my limit to an ungodly figure....thank you but no thank you....okay thank you for the RAF material that's gonna be hand sewn by Kathy Lare....that's okay....
And, that Arizona state tartan sure looks good....and the 1248 white, black, and red Dunbar tartan in honor of my 5 great grandmother Mehitable Dunbar and her clan.....and what else....hmmmm....

Credit cards are evil Evil EVIL little pieces of plastic.
We finally got all of our various cards paid off this past spring. Karen and I each kept one card apiece, the rest were cut up and the accounts cancelled. That said, I don't want to tell you what the limit is on my one remaining card, which is totally paid off at the moment. Lets just say I could easily overtake both you AND Hamish combined in the kilt collecting department.
Btw...I've never been able to get my card to smolder, although I have managed to wear the numbers off more than once.

That sounds more like a charge card than a credit card.
Isn't that the way the American Express card works?

Ok, I just dont know how to deal with this level of service.
First, as I have already said I completed my order around 6:30 am and I had shipping confirmation by 8:30 am the SAME DAY. That was Friday the 20th.
I figured it would get to the post office on Friday, travel Saturday, sit around Sunday, travel some more Monday, then maybe get here Tuesday or Wednesday.
Hey, it takes three days to get my check to the electric company in the same city right?
Well, despite knowing it would still be a few days, I had heard enough stories of amazing shipping times from Stillwater Kilts to start getting my hopes up for a Monday delivery. I was schooling myself to stop that, I had at least a day, maybe more before it arrived. I even made myself go to my girlfriends after work and stay there a few hours before rushing home to check the mail.
Well, before I even got a chance to really start anticipating the wait my kilt is here! By 4:30 pm on Monday, Oct 23rd I got my kilt and sporran. I dont know what to say.
How does SWK get the US Mail to move so damn quick? Does Jerry have incriminating photos of the Postmaster General? Maybe the rumors of secret transporter technology are true?
(the kilt and sporran are awesome BTW, but you've all heard enough reviews of both to know that)
