Now I'm jealous. Only one that's given me that set up line was a Navajo kid working in the produce department of the local supermarket. Floored him too, but would be much more fun with a waitress. Good on you.

She should just be glad that you didn't follow that with, "Why? Did you want to learn to play?"

I didn't want to take it any further as she wasn't really being a smart aleck about it. Besides, she was flustered enough and she had to work. And I didn't want to stir up too much trouble, since the reason we picked that particular restaurant was because the wife of one of my companions worked there.

I used the same line on a young lady at the beer festival, but either she wasn't paying attention or she had too much beer, because it went completely over her head.
