Bourbon. Good Scotch is very expensive, and cheap Scotch is virtually undrinkable.

    Smile

    And now.......the report.

The new Economy kilt arrived yesterday morning. I was pleased to note that the quality of the material has gone up since I ordered the first Economy kilt about two years ago. It seems to be several ounces per yard heavier. The buckles are also vast improvements on the stamped tin ones that used to be employed. In fact, they appear the same as those used on the "Standard and Heavyweight" models (I have both) and the straps are not flimsy any more, but are reasonably thick leather. And there is also a reversed final pleat on the right that was not there before. In short, quality has taken a big jump while the price didn't.

If Jerry would just offer side pockets.............

I actually had a 7-day-ish Stillwater jones on my first SWK.

Although, that was the fault of the local post office, as they chose to disregard the address on the package after seeing the name (Michael McKeown) and just delivered it to a local lawyer (Mike McKown) instead

Jerry and I were both dumbfounded, and the lawyer was something beyond that

    Talking different kind of jonesing

I ordered one (Black Stewart) week before last... was going to wear it to church on Sunday. Then i went and got sick (hospital sick), and missed church and most of this week. I can't wait to wear it this Sunday.

(And I'm well on the mend, so all is well here...

I only want two things for Christmas,
    1. Jerry to whip out a bunch of new tartans
    2. That I like them

As long as you are talking single malt I'll agree with that statement. A good single malt is a thing of beauty and a joy to behold (and taste).
