My in-laws live in Hemet and they say they are now waiting to hear if the city needs to start evacuating.
I hope it turns out well. The smell of smoke down here in Sa Diego is strong this afternoon, but in my bones it feels like the Santa Ana may slack off tomorrow sometime, hopefully before much more damage is done.
A sad turn of events that someone can decide to start a fire knowing the ultimate outcome. I feel for the families of the firefighters who have lost there lives, & also people affected by this fire
