It was a good day all around. I did feel a little under dressed just wearing a pull over shirt next to that fine jacket and tie combo. It was both festive and good looking. He also showed off his Cavscout belt that was a fine looking bit of leather work. The fellow we got to take our pictures asked how close to get with the picture. Almost on cue all of us told him he had to get the kilts.

That soldier was the first time anyone had come up asking where I had gotten a kilt. Later in the day another guy asked where I had gotten my kilt. As we stood talking he said his home was about a mile and a half away from the UK offices. I gave him the address for this fine group of folks. He said he had seen A_Hay! earlier and thought he was a British officer. We did see some friends only because the folks they were with made a comment about there being a man in a skirt and they figured it had to be me.

We are about bazaared out after 4 years. We did buy some 30+ year old pewter cups with hunting scenes all around it. I also got a variety pack of Dutch beer to try.

It was well worth the drive to meet A_Hay! and his lovely wife. I hope Tom and his wife continue to enjoy their time in Grafenweohr.

YMOS,
Tony
