Nice work! Congratulations. You may be able to see all the imperfections, but I certainly can't. Well done.

It looks *great*. I know what you mean about knowing where every imperfection is, but look what you turned out for a minimal investment in $$ and a big investment in time.
Good on ya!..and well done!

Beats Model Cement!
Don't sell yourself short because of a few imperfections. You've done what few have done. Congratulations on your accomplishment.
By the way, it does beat model cement and several other hand works.

Thanks guys.
I have just been making a change to it. I had put sporran loops on. I was unhappy with them and so have taken them off. I think Matt doesn't put them on his kilts. My sporran belt stays put without the loops.
Also good today, I wore it when we went out to lunch. Waitress in the local Indian said, "Very nice looking kilt." I wanted to say, "Thanks, I made it myself, can you tell?" but I restrained. Felt very good to get the kilt complimented.

I just tried to follow Barb's instructions. To be honest, I was quite amazed how it all just came together. I didn't expect it to. A very pleasing experience.

Loooks great Andy! And the only one who will notice the mistakes on a normal inspection is you! Just like when you hang your own wallpaper, you know where all the mistakes are, but nobody else sees them unless you point them out.
