For what it's worth the pairs I buy for my pipe band uniform are through Geoffery Tailor and they fit me great. I've got pretty big calves/legs, though I'm more like a TE than a lineman.

If you are looking for a long sock tht will look nice and give you a thick cuff without stretching out thin around a large calve... Hamilton Dry Goods for $8 is a great deal.
If you want a sock that does all that and has a really nice braided pattern on it...you're looking at at least $70. I think Burnetts & Struth's actullly sells a sock for Large Calves.
I wear the Hamilton Dry Goods socks and love them. They stay up without flashes and they are easy to care for being cotton.
