San Pedro River Ride w/ PCS

After MacSimoin's great announcement I got the inspiration to leave work early, grab the bikes and the PCS and go riding. I was only ahead of her for about 2 minutes of an hour ride by the river. I am sporting a KiltsRock T-shirt though.

Sunny, 74 F, and some fall color

Outpaced by a six year old on a one speed.

Packed up and still has energy after 6 miles

The PCS spotted these fellas on the way out and took these pictures.

Thanks for the inspiration although I shouldn't need any. O'Neille

O'Neille, great pics. It is wonderful to get out with the kids. But I have to ask (and I am sure I missed it before), but what is PCS? I know it refers to your daughter, but I am drawing a blank.

I can uess that PC stand for Pretty and Celtic, but the S escapes me, and I am not all that sure on the P & C!

Beautiful country. You should show off some of your kilts next to the stream!

    O'Neille,

Very cool, can't wait to tell the F-H.C.A.G about the PCS ASAP, if not OK I can keep it on the QT.

    What a treat!

I'm having a foggy memory of maybe 20+ years ago, or whenever the San Pedro preserve was created that the old railroad right of way was converted for walking and biking...but the trail you're on doesn't look like an old right of way...

Refresh my memory if you can.

    Thanks,

This is the San Pedro House off of highway 90 on the way to Bisbee. The RR trail is further north towards Tombstone off of Charleston Road, you can take that trail North towards Benson where it meets up w/ the Steam Locomotive line going North to Benson. Further South there is another crossing where Hereford road crosses just a couple miles North of Mexico.
