Mississippi state tartan
I know that there are STA members on the forum. I have been following tartan no.6789 which was being pushed through the state legislature. However, I cannot find any evidence that it has become official. Can a STA member tell me if there are any restrictions on this tartan?

I believe so, but let me check with one of the "ramrods" behind the tartan. She's on the listserv for the Celtic Society of Louisiana, which I "lurk" on. I can also check with a friend of mine in the St. Andrew's Society of Baton Rouge who is from MS orginally, and is very interested in the tartan.
Cheers,
Todd

Todd,
With a little help from Matt Newsome I located a site which indicates that the Mississippi State tartan is now official as of 03/31/06. The site is http://billstatus.ls.state.ms.us/doc...C/HC0077SG.pdf
I know you keep up with this sort of trivia so I thought I'd let you know.
Cliff
