My trips up the Oregon Trail have been HELL without it! Little Susie has caught Typhoid and 2 oxen died while trying to ford the river!

If the oxen died trying to ford the river, why couldn't you use them for food?

Let's see who was in 2nd and 3rd grade in the mid 80's...
"You have died...Of Dysentery..." Yes, I was in 2nd and 3rd grade around that time. Strangely enough, didn't play Oregon Trail that much, at least until five years ago, when I decided to relive my childhood and get the old Apple IIe out of storage.

How many remember having to hack the registry to get the Window$ version of Oregon Trail to use a SoundBlaster card under Window$ 95?

Oregon Trail proved to be such a disappointment to my kids that I just gave up and let them play Sam and Max Hit the Road...they still kid about it.

It wouldn't matter if you could, anything over one hundred pounds was wasted. I hunted every chance I got.

The link for the kilts has been there for several years. I remember looking at it and not being impressed and that was before I knew about xmarks.

Ah... Oregon Trail. I remember it fondly. Between that and the Intellivision my dad bought be to replace the aging Atari and playing Zork on my uncle's Commodore 64 a video game junkie was born!

To stay on topic... I know nothing about those kilts...

    HA HA HA HA.

I'd tell you about my journeys, but all my family members' names were cuss words.

We still played that game in the early 90's here in rural TN.
