Where's that whole little essay about what a Scot considers cold? You know, the one that ends with hell freezing over and Scotland winning the World Cup?

Last night was pretty chilly for Southern California, and I was out and about in my SWK Wallace economy, with a t-shirt and a sweater, and thin black socks with boots. My knees were a bit cold, but I imagine that if I were wearing hose instead of thin socks, it would have gone a long way in keeping my knees comfortable. Of course, it's nowhere near as cold as a lot of other places . . . I wonder what kilting will be like in January?
