It's funny reading all of these posts about guys not getting lots of negaitve comments. I started wearing kilts in August (and quickly found Xmarks), all of my kilts are UKs (prayin' for a USAK sometime around Christmas!). In little ol' Port Angeles I started wearing my kilts and in my first week of kilted freedom I had guys hanging out of trucks yelling "******!" at me. I don't get that anymore but I've definetly been branded as something else by these uncultured country people. If it weren't for my full time kilting I don't think I'd ever have gotten rid of all the taunts! Just thought I'd share my little "Hey! That's funny!" moment. To everyone who's wearing full time, rock on.

    Guid on ya, Frank int:

    A favorite quote of mine:

Anyone can wear a pair of pants. It takes a man to wear a kilt.

I suspect that those who yell rude, ignorant jests [I doubt they really think you are a bundle of wood or a cigarette--that's what a ****** is, after all!--are insecure with their own manhood and find it threatening for another man to have the confidence that comes with kilting.
