Monterey kilties?
I have to make a quick trip to Monterey, CA for business this weekend. The best flights get me in there around noon Sunday. Anybody in the area for a get together? Or maybe dinner and drinks?

Maybe some of the SF crew will be willing to see you!
My cousins live in Pacific Grove (next to Monterey), and I spent a lot of time there, as well as Big Sur and Carmel.
Have a great trip KCW, There's a lot to enjoy there!

I certainly would enjoy getting to shake your hand. Where will you be staying in Monterey? The Monterey Bay Aquarium is certainly something to see while there. I will check with the F-H.C.A.G , I believe she has a seminar that Sunday in Fremont. But I'm not sure.

My goodness Rob, you're getting to be quite the traveler. Better lay in some kilt rolls.

for this (especially if you wear that X-Kilt!) I'd tear down to Monterey on Sunday Night after our Heavy Athletics practice. PM me with where you're staying.

Actually my nephew works at/for the aquarium, editing video. I have not been there for quite some time, but I've heard it's one of the best!

OK gents, I will post this here as it sems easier to informa everybody rather each person individually. I fly in on Sunday 12/10 and land at Monterey at 12:36. Figure 45 minutes to get to the hotel and checked in and I am free. However, the reason for the trip is due to an internal re-org and the manager my team will now be reporting to has asked to get together for dinner Sunday evening for some "quality" time before the broader teams meet on Monday morning. So, I am "free" between, say 1:30 Sunday until 7:00pm. The dinner with the new boss is at 7:30. I will be staying at the Monterey Plaza Hotel. If that works for anybody to get together, if just for a walk along the beach, let me know.
And Panache, bring along Sinbad and Xena (and the F.H.C.A.G.), I am a proud papa and would enjoy meeting them as well. Maybe the aquarium would work for everybody, the weather looks a little iffy.

Rob,
The F-H.C.A.G. will be at a seminar all day. I would be delighted to meet you Sunday afternoon. Your hotel looks like it is just down the street from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Sinbad and Xena love to visit the Aquarium. As a member I'll have a guest pass for you to use. It really is a top notch aquarium. Plus I believe they still have a Great white Shark on display there.
PM me and we can work out details.
Cheers

Can just anyone invite himself along?
It's been a few decades since I visited the Aquarium. This will be a wonderful way to get the monthly XMarks kilt fix since the regular December meet went off-schedule.
Panache or KCW, please PM me with a few (pertinent) details regarding Sunday afternoon.
