    Very nice indeed.

You might give some thought for the next one - where the thong comes through the top of the sporran (the "closure" thong) you might put it through some holes in the top of the "stiffener" tab.

I've got one sporran of each, and putting the thong through the stiffener draws the bottom of the bag up as you tighten it, making for a more compact package.

It looks great! Can you give some pointers for those wanting to try this themselves?

Nice work on the sporran HHastings.
Those Albion Swords look like reliable pieces, especially like the Gotland, Gallowglass and Jarl.

Looks great, I am thinking about doing the same type of thing as I also have a brown daywear sporran, but as yet no black one, nice job!

    Great Job!
I can appreciate the hard work that went into it. I'm working on a Rob Roy now, and hope my results are as good as yours! Thanks for sharing!

Ditto for me. A very nice job that works especially well with the feilidh mor. BTW, where did you get those boots/mocs? They go great with the kilt outfit as well.

    Thumbs up

Nice work on the first sporran. I was wondering what that new Albion looks like as well. I have the "Caithness" sword and am pleased with the work on it.

Hey Chelsea! You made it over here! Everybody, allow me to introduce my daughter Chelsea (drop dead gorgeous, smart as a whip, and a pretty fair armourer/quilter/seamstress to boot).

Not cold, just had other things to do besides pose for a photo op.

Turpin, boots came from a company called Leatherstocking. Same kind of operation as Catskill Mt Boots. Just about every Ren fair has one like it. They're on the pricey side but custom fit and wear a long time.

    Thumbs up Nice!

Nice sporran. Better than mine! Mines a machine stitched thick wool black sporran. Its closed shut with velcro at the top inside.
