Well, the day of reckoning is at hand! I SHOULD be giving my speech today but I'm not quite sure (should've given it yesterday but my teacher ended class early). Wish me the best of luck boys!

Not sure if it's an "advantage", but Confidence...

A man in a kilt is CONFIDENT. He's not insecure about his sexuality or about "who he is". He doesn't care what others think of him. When you see a man in a kilt, his head is never down, trying to blend in to his surroundings... his head is up, his shoulders are back and his chest is out. It is truly a garment that exudes confidence ni the wearer. It says "I decided to wear a kilt and I don't care if you like it or not."

It's a conversation piece. It helps start conversations with LOTS of people that would otherwise walk right past you. It has an allure and a mystique to it that makes people want to know more about it and about YOU, the wearer.

It says that you're enjoying life and enjoying who you are. It shows you have a sense of humor about yourself.

Question to ask the class... What other single garment can say so much about the wearer without saying a word?

WOOOOOO!!!!! I just got back from College. The speech was awesome! Everyone loved it, especially the guys. While I was going over why kilts are superior to pants, I brought up the fact that it's accepted to not wear underwear with a kilt. "I haven't worn underwear for months! And I'm completely comfortable."

    The men's reactions

    And the women's reactions

After the speech I got nothing but kudos from my teacher and peers. Later on, I went to buy some food and I saw one of the women from my class, she said to me: "Hmm, I think I'll have to form a club to follow you around on windy days!" It was a blast, I loved giving that speech, and it was especially nice to have all of my classmates and my teacher tell me how wonderful it was. I'd do that again anyday!

GREAT! Good to hear the speach was a success!

You may have convinced a few of the guys to "go out on a limb" and try it and/or the women may bug their boyfriends to get one!

Kudos on pushing the "Kilt Movement" forward in your own way.
