    Name this tartan

    Hi Everybody

While on holiday in New Zealand last month a good friend of mine gave me 3.7 mtrs of double width tartan which I'm now making my first kilt out of and I'm pleating it to the stripe. If anybody can tell me the name of this tartan please let me know.

    Cheers Kilted Kiwi

It looks like a fashion tartan to me.

Tried the reverse tartan finder at http://houseoftartan.com/house/reverse.asp
    and came up empty.

But, maybe I did it wrong.

Yep -- and so it is!

Please post all tartan-related questions in the "heraldry & tartans" section.

I agree it looks very nice when you have it pleated in another one of the pics on that site.
