Here a few shots of the walls, or portions of wall in my den. Most are wallhangers, a few are functional. The bit of wall with the dirks on display seems to have evaded the camera.

The detail isn't there, but the clutter below the pistols is pipe chanters and assorted bottles of single malt.

There's a doglock horse pistol on order, and a few smaller items tucked away in drawers. Fortunately I've an understanding and indulgent wife.

What do you guys suggest for hanging a baskethilt on the wall. I am wanting to hang it (in the sheath perhaps) with the targe I have made in front of it. Of course I still want it accessible. Any suggestions.

    Piper, nice looking collection.

I just have them hung on some "L hooks". It's not visible in the photos, but where the blades cross they rest on a wooden knob screwed into the wall. Keeps them in place, and makes them easily accessible for reenactments and such. The targe could be hung in front by using a couple more hooks. Shouldn't need saying, but it's best if you can anchor them into studs. I have an older house, so stud placement isn't exactly regular. I wound up using quite a few anchors.
