I would recommend that you find out the same way I did. I took two pieces of paper and 'pleated' them, then I took the top sheet off re-pleated it and cut the stripe out, and put the two pieces of paper back together, and checked out how it looked. Anything can be done, but it is going to be the amount of cutting hemming, and sewing you want to do.
