$5.00 kilt jacket?

... Now, here is my problem, all the formal kilt jackets have epaullettes. How do I make those? I have never seen a formal kilt jacket in real life before.:confused:

To make a proper epaulette you will need to open up the seam between the sleeve and the body of the jacket and sew it into that seam before attaching it at the shoulder with a button. That seems pretty major tailor work to me.
There are a variety of tux styles and I see no reason there can't be a variety of formal kilted jackets. I certainly like epaulets on kilt jackets, but it isn't essential.

Once I've done that, how do I post pics?:confused: :confused:
