    Well, Robertson, every February we have the Estrella War here in Arizona. We get somewhere between 5000 and 8000 people, and every year we end up with a few who travel hundreds (or thousands) of miles to get here and get absolutely ferschnicket to the point of spending time (and lots of money) at the hospital emergency room being treated for alcohol poisoning.

    I'm rarely surprised by human stupidity any more - every time I thought I'd seen the dumbest thing ever, I see something dumber.

    The sad part is that too many of them live to reproduce.

    I've been dealing with drunks for a little over a decade, and haven't ever gotten used to it.

    A quick swipe of Carmex or Vicks Vapo-Rub right under the nose works wonders, though. For the smell, anyway. The visual is still pretty icky.
