Just this last year my nephew graduated and became a full fledged fire fighter and I attended his graduation kilted. The only other kilt was worn by the piper but he disappeared immediately after leading the graduating class in. After the graduation while folks were milling around I was approached by three LAPD Officers who were there for the event and as many veteran fire fighters all inquiring about the kilt. It is amazing how the kilt can erase those strange barriers between the occupations and get people to talking casually about some subject they have in common.

This year I was told that I WOULD be in the kitchen again, and I was NOT ALLOWED to wear anything BUT MY KILT! Ahh the sacrifices we have to make! Keep wearin' them kilts!
We Frasers, do get them looking don't we!

You must not be at the wrong bar.

My wife and I were in a hurry to meet some friends when accosted by a woman. When spotted she angled in and tried to strike a terrible long conversation and push the local St. Andrews Society. I mentioned one of my friends was wearing a kilt and we ran to truck. Oh, no while driving down the narrow dirt road guess who stood on edge of road and stuck her head in the truck to see my friends kilt. Next the scot accent from the women in the back seat put her over the edge.
