What's your major in school?
If It's tech in any way, then you can talk about learning about the tech industries in Ireland and Scotland,which are quite substantial. Did you know that about a quarter of all the PC's sold in Eurpope are assembled in Scotland?
Ireland has a *very* substantial software development industry....also a very significant biotech indrustry inboth countries. There's a very interesting DNA marker/geneological company based in Dublin. The PI is a faculty member at Trinity College....and don't forget that the first artifically inseminated and cloned mammal....the sheep "Dolly"... was done in Scotland!

I'm studying archaeology with an emphasis on the British Isles. Hence: Ireland. I'll be working on a castle site while I'm there, so that'll be fun, but what I'm really aiming for after school is working in Wales. Don't get me wrong, Ireland and Scotland are fun, but Wales has more sites than both of those put together.
