I've driven from Dumfries to Caerlaverock and back again.
I can't figure out how that could possibly be 8 miles. It *felt* like 20-25 miles.
Of course, that was only my second day driving on the other side of the road... in a car with the steering wheel on the other side...
Heck of a drive - but also nowhere near as scary as driving from Glasgow to Oban.

Fantastic photos Alex, seeing Edinburgh from a passenger jet last year was amazing, I can't imagine how cool it is to fly light aircraft. Thanks.

Very nice.....
As a pilot friend of mine used to say about the F-4.. It is just aerodynamic proof that if you put a big enough engine on a brick, it will fly!
