Look great products Rocky. I wonder if I can swing a 3-piece tweed kilt suit for my 50th in September . . .

Thanks Rocky,
Know them east coast vests are lighter 'cause they're often worn under a jacket.
Out here in the west the vests are usually of the same material all the way around because they're worn more as a more ventilated jacket.
So, had to check just to be sure. Think there's a sliver of satin peeking over one model's shoulder.
The subtle thistle design is a great feature.
And, if you haven't checked your email I'm in for a Saffron Semi-Trad with flashes.

Are the jackets shipped directly from the UK to the customer? Being a Canadian customer makes me ask this question.
Which jacket goes best with the Xmarks tartan?

I'll try to answer all of the questions...
Ron... we SHOULD (not 100% sure... I can check if you like) be able to have them make the WHOLE vest out of tweed... front AND back instead of 1/2 tweed, 1/2 satin.
andyfg... I ended up stopping by a Burns supper last night for an hour or so (in my charcoal grey outfit that you see on the site). It got rave reviews... even from another celtic store owner in the area! And he's a staunch traditionalist! Can it look classy and dressy? You BET!
CelticRanger66... you're starting to challenge Ron for his title of most USAK's ORDERED! He'll still have you beat with most USAK's in his closet, but if you keep ordering for your friends and wife and yourself, you'll pass him with 2 more orders like you just had!
ronstew... No... they're shipped to us, we inspect them to make sure everything is perfect, then we ship them to you. We try to fly under customs radar and this way WE get hit with customs charges from the UK... NOT YOU. XMARKS tartan matching... I just spent 15 minutes digging thru piles of scrap. I can't find any XMARKS tartan to match the tweeds with. I BELIEVE that the Heath / Sea would be a nice "bluish" vest or the Tweed Fen OR Tweed Sea Green Lovat OR Tweed Green Lovat would be good for a "greenish" vest. Best bet would be if someone could send me a swatch of the XMARKS material and I could match the colors with the actual swatches of material to ensure the best match.

Rocky,
Those tweeds really look nice. I'm going to have to do some deep thinking about which one will be next on my wish list.
Best wishes,
Tom

I've been looking at a lot of pics recently of Jackets with a vest and I think I really like the look of the jacket being one color and the vest being a different but coordinating color ie. Black and Gray. Is this an option with these?

SURE! For that, you may have to call the order in to get the "jacket AND vest" price (save $25), but we can gladly do it!
