30 days
Today marks 30 days in a kilt for me. I last wore pants on December 20. It sure gets normal-feeling fast. When I get up the question isn't pants or kilt, but which kilt. I need a couple more to get variety. Three woolies and a UK just aren't enough. Maybe I should strive for one kilt for each pair of pants I give to Goodwill.
Oh, I'll keep some for such activities as weed whacking, ditch digging, and public meetings where the Gov't would prefer it was about the subject and not my clothing. But I'll be flying to Park City in my UK tomorrow and hope to keep out of pants (except for skiing) for the week I'm there.

I'm not far behind you there. Last day I wore trousers was December 24th. It seems the natural thing to don a kilt in the morning, whether a quality wool kilt for going out somewhere or a cheap polycotton one for a day at my desk. No doubt the trousers will still get the occasional outing.

Yesterday my company said absolutely no kilts at work. I took it to the very top. But no kilt for me at work. I will be serving on a State Commission Feb. 23rd and will be kilted! Will drive up to Nashville, Thursday with Family. Gerst Haus and Cheesecake Factory look out! While in Nashville, nothing but Kilts!

Good for you! I recently passed my 3 year mark. There's no feeling in the world like wearing a kilt!
Andrew.

Some day i may be the same way. In the military there is no option. When I retire in 6.5 years and go into buisness for myself, tne boss will encourage kilts in the work place.

Congrats, Turpin! I've had to get by with just three kilts since July! Of course, I've had to wear trousers sporadically, for work, and I generally do not wear kilts to Sunday Mass.

Congrats Turpin.
I have owned a kilt since mid October (birthday gift to myself ). I am in the construction industry and cannot wear a kilt at work. Safety, safety! I also am not allowed to wear one at church. I am the director of music and a deacon, some people don't approve of my freedom...yet. I do wear my kilt every where else I can. I plan to wear it to NMB this summer. I think I will leave all my pants and shorts at home
