New colour for Spring "Rosemary"
I have just completed an RKilt in a new colour for spring. It's called Rosemary and this will be a limited edition kilt. It is a brushed cotton twill fabric. It is light grey with a touch of green. Rather striking with the redish brown straps and brass hardware.
It will be awhile before I get it on the website, but thought you would like to see a preview.
Cheers

Oh AGONY!
Vile tempter.
Such a subtle colour... I could see me in that.
My kilt jones for my own RKilt just shot through the roof. Nuts. Seeing that makes me DROOL.

Oh man, that's nice
I'll echo Dreadbelly's admiration for the newest addition to RKilts range...
However, I must say that the one thing that really caught my eye is the belt! The leatherworker in me went ballistic when I saw that belt! I'm gonna have to sit down and figure out how to make a similar one for myself!!
Keep up the good work, Canuck!
cheers

Wow! It is beautiful, but my wife (who must be obeyed seeing as how she supports -i.e., bought all three of my kilts - my kilt habit) has informed me I need to start saving for the leather saffron kilt...bummer (well, no, not really!!)

A VERY neat kilt, Robert, but I too am struck particularly by the belt. Can I have one of those with the second leather kilt I am about to order from you? Yes, the new samples arrived yesterday morning - thank you so much for the speedy service (what else would one expect from R-Kilts!!).
I have decided to go with 'Bronze' this time - it's gorgeous. E-mail following later today.

Hamish,
That is an excellent choice. The Bronze leather is awsome. I sent you a couple of samples from the hide because, the texture of the leather as well as the colour creates an amazing effect on the kilt. What amazes me is the softness and suppleness of the leather. It is by far my favourite of the leather kilts I have to offer. Yes I will make the belt as well. The hardware on the belt works well with the buckles and straps.
I just got off the phone with my father, we are trying to plan when I would go to England to meet up with you, to hand deliver the kilt.
I am very excited about this trip. It will be a wonderful time to spend with my dad re-living his memories of growing up in Holland as well as the time I spent living there. The Bonus ,will be meeting you, in England of course Robin in Holland and possibly others as well.
Details will follow.
Cheers

Dread I have to take the night off, I will be getting to your kilt soon. I have a few others ahead of you...They have been jonesing for quite some time now!
I'm rockin and a rollin, but still sewing 7 days a week and 12 hours a day... I need to spend some time with my children, dogs, and my motorcycle.....
All is good, sorry you won't have this one for your next kilt night ... but for sure a mid feb.
Cheers
