Stillwater = Value

... he is skeeered of the bright plaids - but *I* don't want a solid color. Unfortunately, Stillwater doesn't seem to have what we both would agree on - a mainly black kilt with *narrow* plaid stripes in red and maybe another color. Am I missing it on their site, or do they just have a really limited selection?

The reason Jerry can offer the prices he does is to have only a few tartans / colors. I think that the Black Stewart or Night Stalker sounds pretty close to what you are looking for.

Also, he ummm, pretty much flat out refuses to wear the kilt hose and shoes and stuff. I'm happy just getting him to go along with my kilt fantasy, so what shoes would be better? Maybe something "rocker" like - like Docs or something? I kind of like the "rocker" look myself anyway....
