I find that, more often than not, the kilt makes one's curiosity stronger than the need for propriety. I have had 'the question' from several women that I would never have expected to ask. I strongly doubt that any of them would have asked me the same question while I was in my jeans...

I can't think of any other garment that's been so solvent of social constructs. Anything else gets ignore cause it's too weird or too dull. I love it.
