I like what the argonian just wrote. I've been playing guitar since I was 11, and money spent on a cheap musical instrument is not money well spent. I have a guitar--hand made, etc.--that cost a king's ransom, but I've had it about 20 years and it looks brand new. I spent about a year paying it off--yes you can finance an instrument at usurious rates--but I am glad I did.
Just figure out how to invest in a good set of pipes that will last your lifetime and then go to your grandson. It may not happen today, but you can probably figure it out fairly soon.
Congratulations on making it to the big time. I envy you.
