For what its worth, my lady sometimes likes to wear MY SportKilts as a long tartan dress. She's not as big as me, but the length is right and with the velcro she can shorten the waist to work for her.

Thanks for the tip on the SportKilts, Ron. I decided to go with the long kilted skirt for this occasion. I hoping that it is not actually too long for her - can always be hemmed if it is. If she really likes it, I'll get her a few of the women's kilts. I think she might enjoy them for summer wear as opposed to wearing shorts all the time. I might add a SportKilt or two to my own collection so I have a little variety for light weight, casual, summer wear. I love my UK's, but it would be nice to have a little more variety for the hot summer months. My wool traditionals are just too hot for me when it gets in the 80F plus range with the high humidity we have here in Missouri.

Congrats. You're lucky to have a supportive lady in your life, and by the sounds of it, you aren't afraid to let her know how much that means to you. Good stuff.

Everything seems so well planned. You're a good man to recognize how supportive your wife has been. Sounds like it will be a lovely, kilted evening. Make sure you have someone take your picture and let us share in the event. Okay?

Congratulations on your 32nd anniversary. Our 30th was yesterday. We went to my wife's favorite Mexican restaurant. I'm sorry to say I wasn't kilted. But, I will be when we repeat our wedding vows this Saturday, and for a good part of the trip when we embark on a second honeymoon sometime in February.
