Splash, since you are setting this up, why don't you pick a place and name the time. We'll all do what we can. Snellville is close to me--about 15 minutes or so--so I don't really care. Just let us know if it's the kind of place where it's adviseable to be armed; don't want to get caught with our pants down.
Well, I don't guess that's likely to happen.
Disclaimer: the above is a joke, made in jest. It is not intended to suggest that kilted men should go armed . . . or not armed if that is one's preference. Nor is it intended to suggest that Splash frequents rough joints. In fact, it's not meant to offend anyone, anything, or any animal, regardless of age, sex, race, religion, or national origin or color blindness. You should probably just ignore it alltogether and not read it anyway.
If we have a piper, we WILL be legally armed. The Pipes were declared a weapon of war after the 1745. From my understanding of how the US laws were created and passed in the early days, I believe that law is still in effect in the US (though not enforced). Anyways, they would fall under the "right to bear arms" catagory and have not been classified as any banned weapon type. SO, a piper is "armed and dangerous."

Ok, since I have been asked so nicely! Here is the tentative plan..
When - 21 Feb @ 6pm
Where - The Loafing Leprechaun http://www.loafingleprechaun.com/
I know this is mid-week, but it might be a good idea to do a dry {ahem} run without all of the crowds. I will be calling them next week once I get an idea if this works out!

Ok, guys..... Here is the scoop. I talked to Richard, the owner of the loafing leprechaun today. His exact words were
"It would be an honor and privilege to have you guys in the Loafing Leprechaun all kilted up."
So, now to get a head count. Who is ready to meet with their fellow Kilties on the 21st?

Great idea. I've always wanted to check out that pub. I can't make any promises for the 21st, but I'll do my best.... the middle of the week is difficult. I'll know better as it gets closer.
