What I understand of the goth culture, I don't like it. It seems dark and looks evil, even if it isn't.
As kiltwearers we are all concerned about the look or image we project.
Having said that, the kilt is SO versatile that you can make it look anything you want.
If goth is your thing, you can dress it to suit.
I admit being a wee bit worried my black hemp kilt would look goth, or give that image. I would rather cut a finger off than project that image. However, after wearing it for some months now I don't think there's any problem with a black kilt. It's all about how you wear it.
