Does liquor really help keep you warm, or does it just make you not care?

Depends on how you drink it, if you do whiskey punch it will truly warm you if you just drink the whiskey straight you will fell warm for a time but it really just makes you not care about the cold so much either way.

My experience is that it makes you colder. But since I didn't care it didn't matter.

It makes you less able to handle the cold without injury, but less likely to notice!

Big plaid blanket worn kile an arisaid. Belted around the waist to the ground with the trailing ends brought up like a shawl. Very fetching, especially when doffed to reveal the mini. Looking forward to it.

No it is not true, it is just a old Kilties tale. Wear a wool kilted skirt. And no they don't itch!

Sounds good, if I had one of those. The best I've got is a mid-thigh weather proof coat. Wheather here is crazy. Yesterday, I was wearing capris outside, now I need a parka.

It'll be a fight to keep her out of MY coat. She'll try to get in here with me.

Alcohol will lower your body temperature, making the temperature outside your body seem warmer relative to the temperature inside. Not a recommended way of keeping "warm" when it's cold out.
