Going by an aging memory here but think I've seen in a lot of Scottish goods catalogs that you can buy watches with tartan faces or family crests on the face. No clue the quality of the watch.
My watch has had so many new bands and watches over the years I'm unsure what combination I have now.
Sort of like the old antique seller's story about George Washington's axe, "Well, its had two new heads and three new handles, but that is George Washington's axe."
