I was boarding and cruising out of Port Everglades on February 3, but will try to make the next Burlington/Oakville one March 3rd. Burlington/Oakville seems to be as close to the center as you can get, but Hamilton would be even better.

Now, just why isn't my "flag" on the map? I see where it would fit.

Somehow I missed the Scottish Rite part of the post... perhaps when my work blocked 'message boards and clubs' from our internet access. I would love to attend a Hamilton Kilt Night... The Rite is a b-e-a-utiful building! I was at my friends wedding there back in the late eighties, and loved the place. I can see us doing a pub crawl in Hess (where I bought my first jeep), then maybe some food at La Luna...
Lets get this one booked!

I don't know how I managed to skip over this thread for so long... but I should probably have my name added to the list as well. With the new job ramping up, I've been spending much less time on the boards. However, I would hope that I would be able to find the time to join in at least a few of the proposed "meetings". I'm in London which is about 2 hours from the GTA and about 90 minutes from Hamilton.

Do you suppose this group needs a secret sign??

I'm a member of the Scottish Rite Club..so I can host you for dinner (I think it's around $20, a tour and then an evening in the library for drinks. Can't guarantee I'd head to Hess St. But... A suggest date for this gathering would be March 29...dinner @ 6pm, then a tour of the club and the Scottish Rite Cathedral, then drinks...what say ye?
