Saffron Semi-Trad
Rocky sewed it up and it arrived Tuesday - a beautiful thing...complete with flashes.
I wore it today but didn't get a chance to take pics. Worked 12 hours today, will do 14 tomorrow, and just 8 on Friday but then have to head south for the Mesa Games....so may be next week before I can post pics.
Quality is perfect as always. Rocky's got my size down to a T.
Wore it with a navy sweater and Matt's navy Lewis hose. The saffron flashes looked really good against the navy.
And danged if I didn't get a couple compliments at work...not common at all. And folks noticed it was a new kilt...so I got to explain the Irishness of it.

Awesome Ron. I need to order the flashes for my wool SWK Saffron.

Good for you Ron, the Saffron is a great color and can be combined with a lot of accessories, black or brown.
Bradley, The SWK flashes match the kilt very well. They also have a saffron tie.

The ones I got didn't match at all and I don't like how stiff they are.

My flashes were pretty different as well. the flashes are a bit more tan-saffron than the rust-saffron that the kilt is. But for $5...close enough for me.

Well, the ones that came with my semi-trad are the same material -PV- as the kilt and the same shade of saffron as the kilt...cut from the same cloth so to speak.
After going back and getting a LOT of flashes for my USA Kilts I've learned to order them with the kilt, like I do with my hand sewns.

I think they were talking about Stillwater's flash not matching up with their version of the Saffron kilt. I don't know b/c I don't own a SWK.
Your flash will match spot on b/c I DO cut the material from the same bolt of cloth (I use the scraps from your kilt to make them).

I really like those green hose with the saffron kilt, Ron. That is a sweet look!
