Since looking at Sudbury topographical maps, there was a large hill between his school and home. So he literally walked up hill halfway to school, and halfway home. Funny how it comes out though. Still not sure about the wolves.

The wolves would be members of the Hockey team Sudbury Wolves. I grew up in Sudbury. What part of town was your dad from?

Some towns in Oswego county (just to the east of Lk Ontario) surpassed the 12 feet mark, and it all fell in about a week and a half! That's our lake-effect "snow belt" and it gets hammered most years....

OMG!!!! I didn't know that many people are from Sudbury. My ex was born and raise there. I have the 'pleasure' of visiting Sudbury 3 times and the last was Christmas 2005.
