Welcome to the forums and the addiction from Snellville Georgia
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

A warm and friendly 'Welcome' from the south coast of England.
I had one kilt, back in ... er....um...ah...er...ummmm....oh, 1950, but I outgrew it in 1973 and so got rid of it and invested in another one - which I still have. It is as good now as it was then. That was then my one kilt until 1998 when I bought another. In 1999 I bought three more. Between 2000 and February 2007 I acquired a further 68 kilts. I have four more currently on order which will bring my total up to 77 by the end of April.
I bet it will not take you that long to accumulate as many!! Do not worry about it - just enjoy your kilt ....... and all those that will follow in quick succession!!

Welcome, from Idaho! My wife got me my first kilt, an olive UK mocker, for our casual summer wedding (She wore a chocolate chiffon halter dress), she's bought me two more UKs and now I'm saving pennies for a saffron leather, which could take me a VERY long time given my desire to start homebrewing yesterday (she paid for a homebrewing class for Valentine's Day - WHAT A WIFE!).

Welcome from southern Ontario - just west or east, or south (actually I don't know they won't send me directions) of Dudeville, Ontario. Although I do believe Improv1 is from that area. Anyhow enjoy your hunt for that "one" kilt. Me I've only been kilted since January and I've already ordered my second.
