Cloves,
Those are really great looking kilt accessories with a definite feminine touch!
Kudos to the tag team efforts of Cavscout and A Hay!
Cheers

It was great fun to work with Cloves and Cavscout behind the scenes and then have her present it to the Rabble. Cloves started the idea and Cavscout was kind enough to pass it on to me.
Since then I have made 3 more, shown in the attached pics
The first pic shows a brown model with a gold Fleur-de-lis that I gave to the wife of a friend. She is very involved with the Boy Scout movement and has the nickname of "Lady Fleur"
The black one I made for my wife. The third pic shows the size relative to a man's sporran. All are made with a magnetic catch.
The second pic shows a two tone model I made with a different catch, a strap and loop, suggested by Cavscout. He has it.
This weekend I'm going to work on a black sporran with a silver Irish Harp to wear with my green Heritage of Ireland kilt at the Post Commander's St. Pat's party on 15 March. I'm also going to make a matching Lady's model for my wife who has a green kilted skirt for the same night.
If anyone is interested in having one of these, send me a PM.
Special offer to the first two requesters $40 each, made to your requested color and design, including postage.
If you have an idea for a different style or cover flap carving, I'll give it a try!
Thanks to all for your kind comments and specially to the other DYI's for your inspirations and challenges on new ideas.

Since the style the lady wanted was based on an ammo pouch what is the possibility you could make it with loops on the back to put a belt through? I could see myself wanting two, one for games etc. in brown when I am not wearing a jacket and could use a place (other than my sporran) for my glasses and phone which always end up at the bottom. The other one could be a dressy black one for wearing with my doublet since like most people my dress sporran carries squat.
PM sent.

Two tone model Tom made with a different catch, a strap and loop.
This one will be for sale. It's enroute to me now and will be up on the web site when it gets here. Drop me PM if you are interested in it.

As a long-time scouter, I really love the one with the fleur-de-lis! REALLY nice work!

That's a spectacular combo you all came up with!
I've made a sporran myself almost the exact dimensions...based it on my favorite "fanny pack" turned round that I often wear. I find the shallow design makes for better organization and retrieval of important items without looking awkward. Kudos, and I look forward to more. I suspect some of the men on the forum might like one for the reasons stated above and below.

Thanks Moosedog
Although originally intended for ladies, I'm negotiating with a gentleman of the Rabble for a pouch to be attached directly to a kilt belt. It would be fine to hold glasses, a wallet, or a camera and not have to dig through to the bottom of a sporran. I won't say more about it now. Up to the customer to post the first pics!
Introductory offer of $40 still available to the next customer. Includes postage.
