Thanks for the offers to help, guys. I think I'm going with the kilt store because they have the Walker tartan in several styles(?). It may not be ready in time, but if not then I'll make the next kilt nite for sure.

You can still come to a kilt night without a kilt, my God we are not fanatics! You just can't sit with us and the only contact you can during the course of the night is to bring pitchers of beer over, but as I said we are not fanatical we will wave to you as we leave you the bill.

I have no problem with the non-kilted attending the Kilt Night festivities. This will be a chance to see what different accessories look like in person (each of us have different sporrans, belts, magical kilt-lifting pins, shirts, etc.) It will be an opportunity to decide what you might want to purchase for yourself.
That, and the beer pitcher delivery.

I'm going to look at some more today. Burnett and Struth, here in Barrie, have quite a few for sale. I'm not sure if they were rentals or what. I was fitted for one on saturday but getting the material is going to be a time consuming process. The one I tried on was a standard sized kilt (that is to say it was proportioned for an average sized person) and it fit me to a tee. I'll definitely let you know how it goes. I particularly like the Scottish national tartan.

Looks like somebody's trying to duck out of paying for the entire evening. Scottish National is nice tartan, sort've makes me wish I was Scottish.

(Okay Grant, now I owe you a pint... just had to say it!)

Would a Scot not be considered a "Brit"? I am English by birth, Canadian by choice and yes, I will take that pint because I am feigning offence.

SOKS for All!
I'm posting this here, too. What's the agenda for Saturday night, March 3rd? Time? Place? Directions? If anyone's passing by Niagara Falls, I don't mind driving from here.
