Welcome from PA. The pictures of Kathy Lare's kilts show they are of high quality. On the other hand the quality of all the kilt makers on XMTS is all outstanding. Look over the all the styles and price ranges and you should be able to find something both you and your wife will like.

You could also go to the DIY thread and find the X-kilt plans and make your own.
