    Has anyone tried these? I'm looking at getting some garter ties, but if I could make some, I'd be down with that.

    What would you estimate the skill level of this project to be? If someone (say...myself, lol) had no sewing machine skills at all, would this be something we could figure out?

    The double overcast stitch folding part was a little confusing, but I think I figured it out. Basically, you want to hide the thick double overcast, but still have the rest of the 3 inches coming out of the bottom to create the fringe.

    So would it be easy for a sewing noob to make these?

    I made a pair of these by hand while watching TV one evening. Not too hard!

    Thank you for the welcome. I forgot to post a welcome thread, I was so excited to see some instructions for these. lol

    I don't know how much I'll be able to do by hand, but I think I could figure it out on a sewing machine.

    I'll post my results in the pictures forum.
