Sorry to hear about your torture for the rest of the week.

While we're making confessions, I bought a suit. Yes a suit, with pants, I'll explain. I now own the agency and I have hired two new producers. I have outlawed jeans, even for casual Friday, and instructed all sales people to be in no less than coat & tie. So I was forced to follow suit (pun intended).
Wow, I feel better already, but I'm in my McDonald of the Isles hunting today so I should!
David
Happy St David's Day to all of you.

The dress code didn't say trousers, did it? I think an Argyle and tie would work...
And Steve, I almost did not recognize you in that first photo.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

All during my "pre-kilt" period...and, please, don't forget, I do not wear a kilt full-time...I frequently went to work wearing jeans, a dress shirt and tie and sport coats. I kept "nice" jeans for this...not washed out or raggy.
I always explained it this way: if you are caught behind enemy lines and you're wearing their uniform, you are considered a spy and they shoot you; if you're caught behind enemy lines and you're wearing your uniform, you're a prisoner of war and they have to house you and feed you until the war is over.
I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
Best
