I'm not really picky on everything that is "proper" so I think everything looks fine. Personally I wear black hose with my black Eton jacket and flashes that match the kilt.

An aside, Thank You very much for your meritorious service to our country. As someone who never served I do still have a lot of respect for the work you gentlemen do for us. You wear those medals well. Thanks.
