Sporran issues

The only thing I can do is keep my sporran chain so tight to keep it higher but that constricts the hanging effect at the top of the kilt. I wish I had a better option or could find some way to make this stop happening at least until I can get rid of this blasted beer gut I've developed.
I have the same problem with the sporran. The one way I have found to reduce this is by using the loops of leather that came with my belt. I organize them so they sit just a little forward of the side-seams in my shirt and then feed the sporran straps through the loops and buckle in the back. This reduces the problem but does not eliminate it.
And what are those loops really meant for?

Being now where near tiny (5'9"tall and 315lbs) I find that my kilt is more flatering to my frame then the jeans I am still forced to wear due to lack of kilts, further I find it a comfort not having to go into a big and tall shop to find cloths that fit me. I also find that when I am in my kilt I get more compliments from the "fairer" sex then when I am in jeans where I feel as if I keep getting looks of disgust and/or fear from the same people.
Being Homsapian Ogreris is difficult at times.

Ogrehood isn't a bad gig though. Being able to squeeze juice out of rocks, being able to tie trees in to pretzels, and the whole policy of letting sleeping ogres lie are just a few of the many perks.

True but the women always act like a damsel in distress near me that I have to eat a skinny rescuer or two before a date can really begin.

Well, I'm certainly not the biggest one here, but at 6'3 and 275 I'm far from the smallest. I've got a two fold problem though. Aside from the beer storage up front, I have a backside and it tends to make the kilt hang unevenly. Or at least my wife can notice. I'm hoping I can shave some of this off, or at the very least tone up a bit before summer hits.
Now I'm just waiting for one of Jerry's Irish Nationals. Ordered it last Friday. Got it Monday. Sent it back on Tuesday (it was too small, so I had to go 1 bigger). Forgot to enclose a check for return shipping so I paypal'd that yesterday. I'm hoping he doesn't get anything mixed up (I forgive him if he does, I screwed it up long before he got involved) and I still get my kilt before the 17th, which is what I had ordered it for in the first place.

Since this is a thread towards the horizantally endowed where does on my size find a kilt belt that fits, no offence to cavscout but his belts only go up to a 50"sin length.

whether you get them from us or someone else, these are PERFECT for solving that problem.
The only NEW problem you'll have is if you keep a lot of heavy stuff in your sporran, your belt wants to slip down a bit, so you have to have it on tight.
I'm not trying to make a sale (or sound like a salesman), just trying to help big guys with the "front apron bunching" problem. Our AVERAGE customer is about a 44" waist (about 250 at 6') and we see this problem ALL the time.
Are these suitable for an ordinary sporran or do you need a special one ? Do they snap onto the 'D' rings on the wee leather strap that passes through the loop on the back of the sporran ? In the picture the ends of the straps seem too wide apart for this to be the case. I have a 'Craigie' sporran sling which seems the same but has a chain which passes through the loop on the back of the sporran and replaces the leather strap. However the sporran does hang a bit low (unless I slide the straps wider apart along the belt) and also a bit lop sided (that wee leather strap on the back keeps the sporran level)and your arrangement could be better for me.
The Kilt is my delight !

Actually, my belts will go all the way up to 80" if need be (maybe further but I've not done tests out that far ). I just need to add a bit to the cost for the extra leather on sizes over 50". The largest I've done so far is 60" and that even allowed for about 7 " of adjustment .
Freddie, they will work on any sporran with d-ring capability. If a sporran doesn't have ad-rings there is a product like this to slip into the pocket on the back of the sporran to accommodate the hangers.
