Dumbest thing I've done was the time I cut my thumb open all they way to the bone with a 10" serrated bread knife, immediately following the cutting of a chunk of flying watermelon.

hmm...dumbest thing I've ever done...
I'd have to say most anything I did from september 1993 to may 1999 ( was in college...and a fraternity...and working for Budweiser...you do the math)
edit - and yes, I was in college full time for six years....van wilder anyone?

Eh, it makes for a good story.

I'm surprised, I'm not alone. I took off the tip of my left thumb but mine was with a butcher knife.
