Seek out Traquair House Ale and Jacobite. I'm a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to Scotch Ale. I consider these two among the very best of the best. Very good, a bit oakey with some dark fruit flavors. They have a very sweet flavor profile that contrasts/compliments very well when paired with spicy drams especially.
They're brewed in the longest inhabited building in all of Scotland, dating back to 1101. It's located in Innerleithen, Peeblesshire.
Check it out! If you find some, let me know what you think!
