    Acu Material

    SUNFLASH:

Over a year ago I had SPORTKILT make a custom ACU "Boulder" kilt for me.

The material I purchased and sent to them worked out great.

It is from Barre Army-Navy in VT.

Here is the link as their online catalog is a bit difficult to navigate:

    https://secure1.nexternal.com/shared...unt2=279761910

I am sure anyone who is looking for ACU digital cloth will be happy with theirs.

    Sincerely,
    Overexposed

Well I am glad to be back rehash an old topic tonight. I have been back from Iraq for a couple of months now and dealing with the various unassundries of seperating honorably from the US Army. Since being back I have made several more kilts and even tought two youths that I mentor how to sew by them making kilts to wear for their JROTC. Well I hope you all are well and that I will be seeing more of you very soon. Oh and for those that wanted me to begin marketing and selling my two-tone kilts (similar to PK's but I would never say mine are so grand as Jeffs) I may be trying out doing so on a VERY limited order basis. Well I hope you all are well.

Welcome back! I love the baronial one. Thought about making a principality of Cynauga kilt but I don't think I could wear the white and yellow. Maybe a moneyers guild kilt...... Keep us updated.

Doc, who is up to late.

Hey, welcome back, Sunflash. I'm curious to see what you've cooked up kiltwise, because you've shown some real flair so far.

Great to have you on the forum Sunflash, you are like a breath of fresh air with your kilt designs which are really different from the traditional kilts. I am sure lots of young people in Scotland who wear the kilt on a regular basis would love your kilts. Keep up the good work and if I see a kilted US soldier in Iraq then I'll know its you, stay safe, the kilted world needs a talent like you.

The jury is out on the checkered apron but I love your use of contrast color in the inner pleats. I can't imagine how many extra pins are necessary to hold everything together before you sew them up.

    GREAT WORK,

    Brian

Welcome back Zack. It's good to see you home safe.

Come on, details of the new kilts. We need some new thinking around here.

I would love to see a "how to" on the way you make the pleats on your "And here is my third kilt."

I was wondering where you went. Glad to hear you are home safe and sound. I hope to see more of your craftsmanship on the board here soon.
