Hello all! My name is Poetesia Fraser. I am an ex-Navy Jag. 6 years in the U.S. Navy. Now I'm out, back home in Joelton, and work as an Advertising Exec. for an International Co. I travel frequently to San Francisco and down to D.C. I have several Kilted Skirts in 5 different Fraser Tartans. They are below my knee, as all proper skirts should be. The better to show off the Tartan! I am not married, 26 years old. I love history and Museums. I'm 5' 2". I make alot of my own clothing, because my hour glass figure is hard to shop for. Boy did the Navy ever have a hard time fitting me for uniforms. 36JJ-20-32. I have several projects in mind for Tartan clothing and noticed that this forum has several tailors and seamstresses. I look forward to reading your post. I hope to learn more about Kilts and Kilted garments. BTW, does anyone know how to change the name that you want to be called on this forum?

Another warm welcome from Middle Georgia!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

    from the Scottish Borders.

When you say you are a Jag does that mean a doctor or paramedic?

I confess to being a fan of overlength kilts for winter wear - some of my longer kilts touch to the top of my kilt hose or rugby socks, just below knee, though I also wear the regulation length kilts for more formal occasions and casually when the weather warms up.

Hello and welcome to the fray.
Good luck working on the clothes. My fiance has a similar figure and has to make most of her own dresses. Here's hoping you have many nice outfits to come.
